Some of you "in the know" will understand the title of this new blog.... I'm very fond of living here in Paraguay, of course, although some of my neighbours are a little odd.....
Everything bare and minimalist as yet here, just a few snakes and jaguars for company..... especially snakes. Features and other blogs will follow (maybe a few photos).. Watch this space.

I miss your old blog, John. Frankly, I wouldn't let one disgruntled person spoil your writings like that. What made it so charming was the local aspect of it, tales of life in your small Welsh village and surrounding environs. I hope that you can return to the same format you had before - maybe talk to the person who would have caused trouble and explain to them that you meant no ill will toward them or anyone else by your writings.
I know how it is living in a small town where people know their neighbors fairly well. Although my hometown's population is about 28,000, still, it is a surprisingly small world where people I know seem to know people I know, if you get my drift. It seems that everyone I meet has a connection to someone I know, so it truly is a small world in my town.
So, please, pretty please, tell us more tales of life in Wales. Truly one of the most charming blogs I have read, and that I will miss should it go away forever.
Thank you Sally. It won't go away for ever.It will be back, in some shape or form, even if disguised. For instance, the location in question is sometimes called "A Little Corner of Paradise", so there is a certain similarity already.... Just got to settle how I'm going to handle certain aspects, then I'll be around again...
John - you've discovered why I blog so selectively about certain areas of my life - I'm just sorry that you ran into a troll so early on. I have a hunch we'll all be rooting for you as you work out the details.
